Bath Oil Beads

The translucent, jewel-colored gelatin pearls that sat in a glass dish on every 90s bathroom counter, melting into a slick of scented oil in the tub, and looking so much like candy that every kid tried one. Calgon sold them in the 60s, but the 90s was their moment.

Jell-O Jigglers

Jell-O so firm you could pick it up: two boxes to two and a half cups of boiling water, chilled in a 13-by-9 pan and cut into stars and dinosaurs with cookie cutters. Kraft's 1990 Jigglers recipe turned a dessert your grandmother molded into finger food for the birthday party, and it lifted Jell-O sales 47 percent.
