Roundhouse

Nickelodeon's wildest Saturday-night experiment: sketch comedy fused with full dance numbers and musical performances, taped before a live audience. Built around the "Anyfamily" and their everyday problems, each episode ended with the cast singing the theme a cappella over the credits. It debuted on SNICK's opening night in 1992.

Total Panic

Nickelodeon's Sunday-morning free-for-all: a studio audience, trivia and Double Dare-style physical games, music videos chosen by applause, cartoon shorts, kid film critics, and previews of brand-new machines like the Genesis and the Game Boy. It ran from April 1989 to September 1990, long enough to move from New York to a still-unfinished Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, and it is where a warm-up comic named Greg Lee got his first hosting job.

Weinerville

Marc Weiner's head on a tiny puppet body, a mayor named Dottie, a dinosaur skeleton who wanted kids to leave him aloney, and two audience members per episode shoved into the Weinerizer. Nickelodeon's strangest afternoon show of 1993.
