Flubber
Robin Williams as an absent-minded professor whose lab cooks up a bouncing green goo with a mind of its own, named flubber for "flying rubber." Critics hated it; audiences made it the number one movie of Thanksgiving 1997 anyway.

The Little Rascals (1994)
Spanky's He-Man Womun Haters Club, Alfalfa's cowlick and his forbidden crush on Darla, a go-kart called The Blur, and a clubhouse that burns down: Penelope Spheeris's 1994 update of Hal Roach's Our Gang shorts, produced by Amblin and released by Universal on August 5, 1994. Critics called it a marketing exercise; kids wore out the VHS.
The Parent Trap
One eleven-year-old, two accents, one very elaborate scheme. Lindsay Lohan's double-role debut as twins separated at birth — reunited at summer camp and determined to swap lives and re-trap their parents — turned a 1961 Disney classic into a 90s comfort-movie institution.
