The 2001 Disney Channel movie that turned Shakespeare's Twelfth Night into a dirt-bike race. When her twin brother gets hurt, Andi Carson secretly races in his place under his name, with her mother in on it and her father off in Europe looking for a replacement rider.

Motocrossed premiered on Disney Channel on February 16, 2001. It was directed by Steve Boyum and co-written by Douglas Sloan, the same pairing behind Johnny Tsunami two years earlier, and it loosely adapts Twelfth Night. Alana Austin plays Andrea "Andi" Carson, a teenager from a motocross family whose father, Edward (Timothy Carhart), won't let her race because she's a girl. When her twin brother Andrew (Trever O'Brien) is hurt in a race with her on the family track just before a big event, Edward goes to Europe to find a replacement rider. Andi decides to race in his place, and her mother, Geneva (Mary-Margaret Humes), reluctantly agrees to keep it secret and registers her as "Andy." As in Shakespeare, the disguise creates a love triangle. A rival rider, Dean Talon (Riley Smith), befriends "Andy" and asks for help winning over another girl, and Andi falls for him.

Andi finishes last in her first race and keeps improving. Her father's hired replacement, a French rider named René Cartier, turns out to be a dirty rider, and after Andi beats him in the final he exposes her during a live interview. The rival team tries to get her disqualified. Geneva points out that the rules never say girls can't race and that "Andy" is short for Andrea, and the sponsor rewards the family with a full factory sponsorship. Common Sense Media found it "somewhat predictable" but credited it with "a good heart, inspiring role models, and plenty of positive messages." Austin made a few more films, including 2005's Popstar with Aaron Carter, and hasn't acted since 2006.
